A tool that fills the gap between a knife and an axe

When splitting firewood, there are many situations where an axe is too heavy but a knife feels underpowered. We set out to combine the knife-like handling with the breaking power of an axe in a design that looks great at camp. The focus was on ease of use and safety.

Designed to feel like a chopping knife, the Delta Hawk’s balance and grip shape were carefully optimized so even beginners can handle it without strain. Gripping near the front of the handle takes advantage of the full-tang construction for batoning like a chopping knife, allowing safe, controlled splits close to your hands. With a chopping block you can also swing it like an axe for powerful blows.

The Delta Hawk is a new category aimed at the “just right” tool for firewood work, supporting your campfire scenes.

Straight-line design inherited from the Delta Talon and finished with a black-wash treatment for photo-ready camp styling.

6 mm full tang

Blade and handle core are formed from a single 6 mm-thick stainless steel piece for exceptional stiffness and resistance to twisting or bending—built to withstand hard use.

Easy to swing, powerful performance

Controls like a chopping knife for batoning, and with a chopping block can be swung like an axe for forceful wood splitting.
