The main fabric used is "Mipan regen," a ripstop nylon known for its unique light texture. With a flame-retardant finish, it is designed to be worn safely in environments where sparks may fly. A Camp Vest That Balances Comfort, Storage, and Design
The development of this camp vest began with the goal of creating a "standard" that embodies comfort, storage capacity, and design. Camping often requires more tools than everyday life, leading to small stresses such as “I can’t find what I need right away” or “Where did I put that?” We collaborated with the renowned minowa vest laboratory, specializing in camp vests, to meticulously address these concerns and ensure a comfortable experience.
While there are various types of vests, our aim here was a definitive “standard model.” Instead of having numerous small pockets, we incorporated larger ones that can comfortably store items such as lights, small burners, mobile batteries, wet wipes, and first aid pouches. This design, while simple, focuses on usability. The front features a total of five storage compartments, allowing you to intuitively remember where you placed each item for easy retrieval. There are belt loops on the sides to hang a hammer without hindering movement.
The standout feature is the large pocket with gussets located on the back, which offers storage capacity equivalent to a small backpack. You can carry items like bath towels, rain jackets, or 1.5L water bottles that would usually require a backpack. It can also fit a DSLR camera with a large lens, making it useful for photography as well. By placing the weight on the back, the balanced design minimizes instability, maintaining comfort even during extended periods of movement.
