The Ognis Dome is a shelter designed to enhance your camping experience by bringing the campfire closer to you. While it allows you to fully enjoy the warmth and open feeling of a campfire, fully closing it—whether due to inclement weather, cold seasons, or simply wanting to enclose your campsite before bed—blocks the view of the outdoors and makes the space feel cramped.“Even when closed, I want to feel the outdoors.”
This TPU vestibule was created to answer that desire.
By connecting to the lift-up panel, it creates a new space at the front of the shelter. While shielding you from rain and wind, it brings the outdoor scenery directly into the interior through transparent TPU windows. A field shrouded in morning mist, mountain ranges tinged with the colors of dusk, the light of a lantern floating in the stillness of the night. Even while inside the tent, you can continue to feel these changes in nature right before your eyes.
It offers a camping experience completely different from that of a traditional enclosed space.
Furthermore, when used in conjunction with the inner tent, the expanded front vestibule enables a two-room layout that clearly separates the living area from the sleeping area. We aimed for a design that allows you to arrange gear and set up a table with plenty of space, ensuring a seamless transition from day to night without compromising the sleeping area.
Enclosed yet open. Protected yet at one with nature. This is an option that takes the “campfire-enjoying camping” experience proposed by the Ognis Dome one step further.
