Dedicated stainless top for Rotal
Swap the punched aluminum top with the included hex wrench to upgrade to a smooth stainless-steel surface. Magnetic and heat/durability resistant, it securely holds magnet-compatible accessories. The flat surface is easy to wipe clean—an instant upgrade for your Rotal.
From lightness to function
When Rotal was first released, we prioritized “lightweight” and “portability,” using a punched aluminum top as standard. After release, users reported real field issues: magnetic accessories like Grapharm couldn’t attach, and spilled sauces or ash clogged the punch holes, making cleaning difficult. We reexamined how to increase Rotal’s expandability. The key was magnetism. By adopting magnetic SUS430 and designing a non-punched flat top, we enabled cross-series magnetic accessories and expanded customization. SUS430 resists heat distortion and is highly durable, so it’s safe as a temporary rest for skillets or kettles. The flat top stabilizes tableware and greatly improves cleanability. This gives Rotal a new role as a “stainless cooking surface.” Rotal should remain a “table that grows with use”—this stainless top board is the first step driven by user feedback. We will continue expanding material options, magnetic accessories, and cross-series extension parts to broaden usability at the campsite.
